EASYJoint is the original sweep-in jointing Compound and still the best truly "All Weather Paving Joint Compound" available and made in the UK. Do not be fooled by others making similar claims. This #1 product is sold across the world and is favoured by professional and DIY installers. Wet the Paving. Thoroughly soak the patio or paved area to be jointed with lots of water using a hose. The paving must be absolutely saturated before starting and remain soaked throughout the application process ‘the wetter, the better.’ We strongly recommend not shortcutting this process, particularly when working with absorbent or sensitive materials such as Sandstone, Granite and Limestone. Highly absorbent and porous stone will require sealing, 2-3 days prior to laying, on its top surface and four edges. In dry conditions and warm to moderate temperatures and humidity, EASYJoint Pro should be firm enough to walk on within 24 hours and will cure very hard within a few days. Once you're happy that the joints have been completely filled, use your hose pipe liberally to remove any grout residue and ensure the joints are wet through. This step will make the entire area look clean, as well as compressing the compound further. Step 5

Similarly, while EASYJoint remains wet, either via the application process or through rainfall, the curing process will be suspended. Prolonged periods of rain, or several intermittent showers will considerably extend the setting times. Again, this will not affect the final integrity of the product in any way provided water can drain easily away and so allow even curing throughout the joints (as previously explained) Why use EASYJoint? Carefully empty the content of the activator bottle into the sand, ensuring all the liquid is used. EASYJoint can be used with all paving types, but some need additional attention before and during the use of EASYJoint. In particular, please be aware of the information supplied elsewhere in this guide about sensitive natural stone types and paving with chamfered edges (‘V’ shaped joints). EASYJoint Colours As the name implies, EASYJoint is easy to use – simply soak the paving with water before commencing and then simultaneously sweep and wash the jointing compound into the joints, letting the water take the strain. We cannot overly stress how important it is to use plenty of water before, during and after the application of EASY Joint. A hose with a fan type nozzle is perfect.
